About Dorset Segways, Upton Country Park
Upon arrival you will be greeted by your instructor who will issue you with safety equipment, run through a safety brief and get you on your Segway in our practice area. Once everyone is feeling confident and your Instructor is happy with your progress you will then venture into the Gardens and Woodland of Upton House and Country Park.
Your guided Segway Tour will begin with a glide through the grounds to a breath taking view across Holes Bay. From here we will continue through the nature reserve where you will see an abundance of wildlife and plants, some of which are unique to this site.
As we head back up toward the house there will be an opportunity for one of our professional photographers to take pictures of you on your Segway overlooking the grounds or the House itself, the pictures are uploaded to our Facebook page ’Dorset Segways’ where customers can then click like and download them free of charge.
Your tour will also take you off the beaten path when we venture into Grove Woods. Here you will see what these amazing machines can do as you zap through the trees and up and down slopes on dirt tracks!

- Maximum group size is 6 per tour with an instructor
- Please allow up to 1 hour for this experience
- The minimum age for the Segway tour is 12 years old
- The minimum weight is 7 stone (45 Kg).
- The maximum weight is 18 stone (115 Kg)
- If the instructor is in any doubt, you may be asked to be weighed
- Any person between the ages of 12 and 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, over the age of 18
- All deals must be booked and experience taken by the voucher expiry date.
